Di-Ti Dalmatians
and Lhasa Apsos
Welcome to the Rescue Page
Di-Ti rescues dogs (Dalmys and Lhasas
along with other breeds) in our area to the greatest extent we can. We
don't approve of puppy mills, backyard breeding or auction practices. Our
main concern is for the welfare of all companion pets. The best place for
any pet is in a home that wants, understands and appreciates our faithful
friends.
Reality Check - Why
We Support Rescues

If the old saying "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words" is true
then these 3 would fill a book.
An important issue with dogs
of any kind is (as well as other animals).........what do we do with unwanted,
abused and neglected animals? Let the dog pound take care of them? Ignore
them and they will go away? No, they need a home, some understanding, patience
and they can be the most rewarding thing to come into your life. Check
out a few of the examples below, perhaps you will
see what we mean.
"Tops", Spot spelled backwards.
Tops came from a "broken" home.......divorce.
He was aquired by his present owners from Di-Ti and has found his place
amongst a family that gives him all the attention that a Dalmy demands.
"Buddy", when we first aquired him.
A short biography
"Buddy", after a few months of loving care.
Buddy was a good dog that just needed attention (and
regular feeding). After a tough start in life he was given a second chance......wouldn't
you want the same?
