Hugs

Doesn't it make you feel wanted
And give your heartstrings a tug
When someone wraps you in their arms
And gives you a great big hug

Medicine has it's uses
One can't dismiss this with a shrug
But the medicine that treats my heart best
Is a great big welcome hug

A bright hello is nice but dull
It just lays there like a rug
But there's nothing that cheers me more
Than a great big heartfelt hug

You can give others a smile in greeting
But if you want to pull my plug
When I come with your reach
Just give me a big bear hug!

Clayton Hobart Fox

If I could catch a rainbow,
I would do it just for you.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own,
A place to find serenity,
A place to be alone.
I would toss them in the sea.
All these things I'm finding
are impossible for me.
I cannot build a mountain,
or catch a rainbow fair,
Just let me be what I know best,
A friend that's always there.
