Transitional Housing Assistance
The Island County Service Center
currently has 14 families active in transitional housing. Vouchers are
administered through the Housing Authority of Island County and provide up
to two years of assistance. Clients are contacted monthly to assess progress
towards identified goals, and reviewed on a six-month basis to determine
compliance for renewal of the voucher.

Lending Library
- The resource library became fully
functional in late February, 2002. 21 in-home providers and 6
childcare centers accessed resources on 68 different occasions,
checking out 203 items. The Island County service center will
continue to add new resources based on input from providers.

- 792 contacts for Food Stamp Outreach
- Administered the North Whidbey
