Instructions and Caveats

Now it's possible to search through all 59 of the listed sermons. The current incarnation of the search engine has the following limitations:

1. You can only search for "word" characters. In other words, you can't search on punctuation.
2. Right now the search only handles one word at a time, with no wildcards.
3. The search has no index — it actually searches the HTML pages in place.
4. A reference and a line of context will be returned if a hit is found.
5. You can specify a starting and ending sermon. The range of sermons will be searched through. The script will default to search them all if you do not specify starting and ending sermon numbers.
6. If you only want to search one sermon, then list it as both the starting and ending sermon.
7. If you click on the location, you will be brought to the sermon in question. All of the occurances of that term in that sermon will be highlighted.
