Swim Lessons

American Red Cross Learn to Swim!

We are proud of the quality of swim lesson programs offered at Fidalgo Pool and Fitness Center. Our class offerings are grouped by age, learning ability, and swimming skills. New: American Red Cross Cards for all levels. The groupings are:

AquaKids - Ages 6 months to 3 years **
Parent and child in the water together; goals are water adjustment, breath holding and other aquatic skill development. Cost is $25/$27.  If children are not potty-trained, swim diapers and plastic pants may be purchased at the pool.

Water Wiggles - All 3 year olds!!!**
A transition class following AquaKids.  Water adjustment and FUN!  Parents be brave and let your kids go! (no parent involvement).  All 3 year olds sign up for Water Wiggles.

Preschool - Ages 4 to 6 and Youth - Ages 7 to 15
Focus on water adjustment, floating, enjoyment and safety through American Red Cross skill level progression. Pre-registration is required. Preschool levels are combined as 1/2 and 3/4. Cost is $35/$347

Adult:  Call for information

Private:  Check with cashier or call for information.

NEW! Adult Stroke Clinic Tuesday 7:30-8:30 a.m. $10 drop-in fee. Taught by the fabulous Judy Jensen. July 11, 2008

Just a few things you should know: Classes are cut and combined the Friday prior to each session. Sign up well before each class to help assure your class is a success. Special Needs Students are welcomed with participating parent in the water, 

Bring in your American Red Cross cards or Report Cards to better place your child in the appropriate level. Unsure of the proper level? Contact Judy Jensen the Aquatics Manager, any swim instructor or front desk personnel.
