| YNC Billy C. Taylor, USN(RET.) | guy119_98@yahoo.com | Great Page, enjoyed it. I served on many tin cans but I'll always remember the lst one (USS WREN (DD568) with loving memories of a scared 19 year old just out of boot camp reporting for duty on Nov. 3, 1954 and wondering what was in store for me? Twenty years later I retired as a Chief, having traveled around the world 2 l/2 times and in so many countries I can't even remember them all. What a life, I loved it and I miss it, even after 26 years of retirement, I regret the day I voluntarily retired. Even the 3 tours in VietNam have some good memories that I conjure up and wonder what happened to all my shipmates. Hope you are all well and doing good. I love all of you. Chief Taylor |
