Description: One of the few fanfics centered on Barret, describing what's running through his head as he arrives in the burning city of Corel four years before the game. This story proves I can write about AVALANCHE without somehow bringing Rufus into the story. ^_~ (A word of warning: Don't expect Barret's thoughts to come through in Ebonics. *grins*)

"Her Last Request"

Description: The dead that have returned to the Planet are gifted with a special sight that allows them to watch their loved ones even in death. However, when Aeris' Lifesight fades and leaves her heart aching, Tseng sets out to fulfill her last request.
Teaser: Half a year after death, a person lost their Lifesight, and in the process, their connection with the Living Realm. It marked their true passing to the Lifestream.

"Rufus and Cloud"

Main Characters: Rufus & Cloud Shinra
Description: In a world of destruction and corruption, two brothers dared to enjoy the world around them. When they are separated by their father for five years, the two brothers try their best to continue to smile at the harsh reality laid out before them. Their ultimate challenge takes the form of a silver-haired devil, one that could easily take away everything they worked so hard for. Can these two brothers, one with the experience of a SOLDIER and the other with the knowledge of an experienced executive, keep their spirits high when darkness envelopes them? Only time will tell.

"Ode to Seifer"

Description: An "Eyes on Me" song for Seifer and Rinoa. . . I have nothing against Squall and Rinoa together, but I just liked the idea of a song for them.

Description: Life has not been kind for Kuja . . . so why should death be any different? In a prison where he might as well be dead, Kuja is given a chance to do some thinking. (This is the three-part prologue to another FF9 fic that will be posted in the future.)

"The Insane"
