Hello welcome to my little piece of the www. I enjoy reading, collecting comics, CCG such as Magic the Gathering and Battletech. I enjoy Archery, shooting, camping and novice computer geeking. This is my first attempt at HTML and I hope to reach the point of mastery in a decade or two. You may have guessed from our Homepage, I am of Irish descent. I am very interested and fascinated with the Hiberians as the Romans named the Celtic people. All aspects of there lives, beliefs and culture, which runs through me. I am not sure why but I am drawn to it more than the land of my birth. Funny how that happens! You will notice in here (my room) I do like to have fun and have a very good sense of humor. I am not "politically correct" because I am not an insecure puritan. I'm just somebody that lives and let lives during this very short time on this plane of existance. (And it is very short indeed) I hope you enjoy yourself, I hope you learn something. Everyday we should learn something new no matter how insignificant it may seem. We have been on Whidbey Island since 1986 and have enjoyed living here though it is wet and soggy. I am retired from the Navy after 21 years and plan to go to college to take Telecommunications Technology at Skagit Valley.
First off, my thought on peace in Northern Ireland, if the parties involved in this whole conflict do not see that the ONLY people that are getting hurt are the Irish PEOPLE, the men, women and the children and they do not stop this insanity I feel they are complete and utter FOOLS. What good do they accomplish with the killing of innocents?!!! Where is the progress towards peace with the murder of civilians?!!!! Most importantly where is the want of peace or is it just a struggle for power?!!! I do not pretend to know what goes through another persons mind but I know that peace does not come through aggression, only oppression comes from aggression !!!! If peace is wanted the work of peace must be undertaken, not the work of violence!!! If the so called professionals can not accomplish peace for the people they are suppose to be working for then get the hell out of the way and let the people decide for themselves what will be!! But every good politician knows that the "people don't know what's good for them" that is what politicians are for. That is my thought on the subject.
If this is a free country why can't we as a people decide how we are going to live our lives, without some insecure puritanical short sighted shallow minded person, who for the most part has a more privileged and easier life than those of my cast, deciding for me whether or not I wear a seat belt, or a helmet on a cycle or what book I read or..... well you get the idea. I hope.

If I as a parent am legally responsible for my children by law, moral obligation and by blood, why am I not allowed according to the privacy act 1974 to get my 14 year old daughters medical record at the hospital!? I am her father,dad, legal guardian or any other label or name you want to call me but most importantly- I AM HER FATHER- and I do not have a RIGHT to see or check out my 14 year olds medical record. Why is that!?
Did you know that the Federal Reserve Bank answers to no body of government. They are not inspected or audited by any "outside" source. All meetings and plannings are held behind closed doors with no monitoring from any agency. The Federal Reserve decides the fate of and controls the government and this country by controlling the interest rate, cash flow, employment rate and dollar value. Don't believe me? Think about the double digit interest rates the federal reserve put out in the early eighties and inflation followed suit. It ruined the current president and he lost his job in a landslide defeat.(Reagan vs Carter) Remember? Let me give you a clue, in No Way can the president raise inflation or interest rates! That my friend is the dutiful task of the Federal Reserve Bank. Research it, if you still do not believe me, and if you still follow that naive lemming like early sixties late fifties ideology that the government is our bestest friend and bossom buddies that take care of us and look out for OUR best interests, I wish you well. Oh I hear the government is setting off some nuclear bombs and need volunteers to watch the pretty lights, it is perfectly safe honest!
