GOLD

This Honda never ran. I bought it after the accident that took Blue from us as a donor body for Blue's engine and transmission. The guy I bought it from sold it to me for $150, because it was running on 2 cylinders. I didn't care, because I had a really strong engine and transmission to drop into it.
In the fall of 1997, all three of my Hondas (Blue, Frankenstein and Gold) were sitting in Chris's yard. If any of you have a girlfriend cool enough to let you keep your dead cars in her yard, keep her! It was coming time for her to move in with me, so we had to get my cars out of her yard so she could move out. I sent Frankenstein to the shop to have the fuel pump rewired, and that was taken care of, but Gold and Blue were still there.
One rainy night, myself and three friends unbolted and cut the engine and transmission from Blue. It took four of us, but we loaded the engine and transmission as a unit into the back of Gold, and sent empty old Blue to the junkyard. Gold was then moved to a friend's garage with Blue's powertrain tucked safely inside the hatchback (note from my reenacted photograph that the back end is sitting very low). This friend stored Gold for a few months, but then they were moving, and I had no place to store Gold. I was too poor to register Gold still, and I was living in the apartments that had Frank impounded for expired tabs, so I had to let Gold (Both engines and all) go to the junkyard as well. This left me with only Frank, and after Frank was impounded, I went Hondaless for the next 4 years. Chris and I have just purchased Li'l Green Honda, and we're very happy to have it.
